The Shakespeare-at-the-Shore Novels:

Contemporary updates of the Bard’s romantic comedies set at the Jersey Shore

COMPLETED:

Nothing But Amore: In this update of Much Ado about Nothing, sharp-tongued Beatrice is partnered with long-time nemesis Ben Marino, who’s serving as best man in her cousin Marie’s wedding. But when the bickering duo find themselves preparing the rehearsal dinner together, there’s lots more simmering in the kitchen than just the pasta water.

Taming Kate: Scorned wife Kate Minola finds it hard to curb her fiery temper when she learns her ex is about to marry the woman he left her for, and little sister Bianca is threatening to take over their antiques business. Will attractive new neighbor Peter Ruccio help her change her shrewish ways?

PROJECTED:

Twelve Nights: Viola Romanelli is tired of being the man of the family in this update of Twelfth Night. Stuck running her late father’s construction company while twin brother Sebastian sails the world, Vi dreams of becoming a fashion designer. When long-time crush David Orsino hires her to run one last job, Vi finds herself playing reluctant matchmaker for him and her lovely friend Olivia.

The Course of Love:  English teacher Tessa Rinaldi inherits her great aunt’s house at the shore and turns it into a literary bed-and-breakfast. But when business lags, she rents rooms to a rag-tag group of Shakespearean actors for a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. As the drama of the play begins to spill into real life, Tessa’s quiet existence in Oceanside Park is suddenly more complicated than one of the Bard’s plots.
