A Jersey girl born and bred, Rosemary DiBattista left her heart at the shore, which serves as the setting for much of her work. She earned her B.A. and M.A. in English at Rutgers University, where she discovered that reading Shakespeare was actually considered homework.
An English teacher by day and novelist by night, Rosemary is also the author of a non-fiction book for teens and numerous education articles. The first book in her cozy mystery series, Murder and Marinara, is scheduled for publication by NAL/Penguin in the fall of 2013.
Rosemary lives in central New Jersey (fifty miles from the nearest ocean) with her husband, two of her three sons, and an ill-behaved fox terrier.
