I have always thought of this blog as place for only happy thoughts, as bright and comforting as the lovely colors that make up its background. I wanted it to reflect the stories I write–where the sun always shines and the people end up happily ever after.

To Charlotte and Daniel and Olivia. To Josephine and Ana and Dylan. To Madeleine and Catherine and Chase. To Jesse and James and Grace. To Emilie, Jack, Noah, and Caroline. To Jessica and Avielle. To Benjamin and Allison and the women who tried to save you:
You deserved a world better than this one. A life that was longer, an end that was kinder. May you rest finally, and quietly, in peace.
